SDEM TEGA knows that any economy activity has an impact in our environment and knows also the importance of environmental management in our society. For that reason, SDEM TEGA develops good environmental practices when performing its services, based on the principles of CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT, OBSERVANCE OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEGISLATION and ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT PREVENTION.

Since 2005, when SDEM TEGA placed a stand in the GENERA fair, we started a new business line, consisting in the realization of projects, management, installation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic plants.
|
After several experiences with small installations, it is in the years 2006, 2007 and 2008, when SDEM TEGA has started pushing on this business area, accumulating up to almost 30 MW of installed power in less than 2 years, becoming strong in the sector.

According to official data, a photovoltaic installation helps to avoid the emission of 420 kgs. of CO2 for each installed KW (Photovoltaic Solar Energy Report Enerpyme), which means that, approximately half the activity of SDEM TEGA in the last 2 years, has contributed to avoid the emission of almost 12.000 tons of CO2, per year, to the atmosphere.
